Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Front End Assistant to join our dynamic team in the transportation and logistics sector in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to the front-end operations, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between various departments. You will play a critical role in enhancing customer satisfaction and optimizing logistical processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing information about services, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Documentation Management: Assist in the preparation, processing, and filing of essential documents, including shipping manifests, invoices, and compliance paperwork. Ensure all documents are accurate and submitted on time.
- Data Entry and Maintenance: Accurately input and maintain data within our logistics management systems. Regularly update records to reflect current status of shipments, deliveries, and inventory.
- Coordination with Teams: Collaborate with operations, warehousing, and customer service teams to ensure a smooth workflow. Facilitate communication between departments to address any operational challenges.
- Reporting: Compile and analyze data for weekly and monthly reports on logistics performance metrics. Assist in identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Inventory Management: Support the inventory management process by monitoring stock levels, assisting with stocktaking, and coordinating with suppliers as needed.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional service to clients by following up on orders, tracking shipments, and addressing any concerns or feedback to enhance customer experience.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties, including answering phone calls, managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office supplies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role within the transportation and logistics industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with logistics management software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
