Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Funeral Attendant with a strong background in Information Technology to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of funeral operations while leveraging technology to improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Interaction:
- Provide empathetic support to grieving families, guiding them through the funeral planning process.
- Assist clients in selecting services and products, ensuring their wishes are honored.
2. Technological Support:
- Manage and maintain IT systems used for funeral services, including software for scheduling, billing, and client management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of digital memorials, online obituaries, and live-streaming services for funerals.
3. Operational Duties:
- Prepare the funeral home and chapel for services, ensuring all equipment and technology are functioning correctly.
- Coordinate with funeral directors to ensure seamless service delivery during funerals and memorials.
4. Logistical Coordination:
- Assist with the transportation of the deceased, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with vendors for floral arrangements, caskets, and other service-related products.
5. Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of services rendered and client interactions.
- Assist in the completion of necessary paperwork and compliance with legal requirements.
6. Customer Service:
- Address any questions or concerns from families in a timely and respectful manner.
- Provide support and guidance on grief resources and aftercare options.
7. Training and Development:
- Participate in ongoing training related to funeral services and technology updates.
- Mentor new staff on operational practices and the use of technology in service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a funeral service or related field.
- Strong background in Information Technology, with proficiency in various software applications and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Knowledge of UAE regulations related to funeral services is a plus.
- Certification or training in grief counseling or funeral service management is an advantage.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and funeral service management software.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms for promoting services.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
