Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Assistant to join our dynamic team in the pharmaceutical sector located in Ajman. The ideal candidate will support various administrative and operational functions to ensure the smooth running of our daily activities. This role is critical in maintaining a productive work environment and supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining filing systems.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels of pharmaceutical products, supplies, and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter and update data related to inventory, orders, and shipping in the company’s database.
- Customer Service: Respond to inquiries from clients and stakeholders, providing information about products and services as needed.
- Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, including maintaining accurate records of pharmaceutical transactions.
- Logistics Support: Coordinate with logistics teams for the timely delivery of products, assisting in the preparation of shipping documents and tracking shipments.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with various departments, including sales, marketing, and quality assurance, to support overall company objectives.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure that the workplace is clean and organized, adhering to health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in administration or pharmacy is a plus.
- Proven experience as a general assistant or in a similar role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry (1-7 years).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with data entry and management software.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
