Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Genomics Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing genomic data, and assisting with research projects. The Genomics Technician will work closely with our team of scientists and researchers to support ongoing genomics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform genomics laboratory experiments, including DNA extraction, PCR, and sequencing.
- Analyze genomic data using bioinformatics tools and software.
- Assist with research projects and collaborate with team members on experimental design and data interpretation.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Document experimental procedures, results, and findings in a clear and organized manner.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in genomics research and technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- [2-4] years of experience working in a genomics laboratory setting.
- Strong understanding of molecular biology techniques and genomics technologies.
- Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and software for genomic data analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
