Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Geochemist to join our dynamic team in Dubai within the energy sector. The successful candidate will apply their expertise in geochemistry to support various energy projects, including oil and gas exploration, renewable energy development, and environmental assessments. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct geochemical analyses of geological samples, including rocks, sediments, and fluids, to assess the presence and concentration of hydrocarbons and other energy-related resources.
- Develop and implement geochemical models to predict resource distribution and behavior, aiding in exploration and production planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists, engineers, and environmental scientists, to integrate geochemical data into project development.
- Analyze data from laboratory tests, field studies, and remote sensing to support decision-making processes for energy exploration and production.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations to communicate findings to internal stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in geochemistry and energy technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve operational efficiency and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices in all geochemical assessments and reporting activities.
- Participate in fieldwork, including site investigations and sampling campaigns, to collect geochemical data from various environments.
- Assist in the development and execution of research projects related to energy resources and environmental impact assessments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Geochemistry, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in geochemistry, particularly within the energy sector.
- Proficiency in geochemical analysis techniques, including chromatography, mass spectrometry, and spectroscopy.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and modeling.
- Familiarity with energy industry regulations and environmental impact assessment processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in using geochemical software and data analysis tools.
