Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Geospatial Technician to join our team in Al Ain. The Geospatial Technician will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geographical information to create maps and reports for educational purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geography, GIS technology, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and analyzing geographical data using GIS technology
- Creating maps, charts, and reports to visually represent data
- Collaborating with educators and researchers to determine project requirements
- Managing and organizing geographical databases
- Conducting spatial analysis to solve problems and answer research questions
- Providing technical support and training to staff and students on GIS technology
- Staying up-to-date on the latest developments in geospatial technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in geography, GIS, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or Google Earth
- Experience with data analysis and spatial modeling
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
