We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Government Affairs Director to join our Pharmaceuticals company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government relations and advocacy within the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement government affairs strategies to influence key stakeholders and decision makers in Abu Dhabi
- Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the pharmaceutical industry
- Build and maintain relationships with government officials, industry associations, and other relevant stakeholders
- Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and other external events
- Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on government affairs issues
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulations and policies
- Manage a team of government affairs professionals

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in government affairs, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong understanding of the political landscape in Abu Dhabi
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of successfully influencing policy outcomes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred
