### Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Greenhouse Technician to join our dynamic team in Dubai's pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing greenhouse operations, ensuring optimal growth conditions for pharmaceutical plants, and maintaining high standards of quality control. The Greenhouse Technician will play a critical role in supporting research and development efforts by providing essential plant materials for pharmaceutical applications.

### Key Responsibilities:

- Greenhouse Management: Oversee daily operations of the greenhouse, including monitoring environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, light, and ventilation) to ensure optimal growth conditions for pharmaceutical plants.

- Plant Care: Perform routine tasks such as planting, watering, fertilizing, pruning, and harvesting plants, ensuring adherence to established protocols and best practices.

- Pest and Disease Control: Monitor plants for signs of pests and diseases; implement integrated pest management strategies and conduct treatments as necessary to maintain plant health.

- Data Collection: Record and analyze growth data, environmental conditions, and pest/disease occurrences to inform ongoing research and development efforts.

- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of greenhouse equipment, including irrigation systems, lighting, and climate control systems.

- Collaboration: Work closely with researchers, scientists, and other team members to support experimental trials and provide plant materials for pharmaceutical research.

- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to safety guidelines and environmental regulations, ensuring compliance with local and international standards related to pharmaceutical plant cultivation.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of greenhouse activities, including planting schedules, treatments applied, and growth metrics, for regulatory and quality assurance purposes.

### Qualifications:

- Education: Associate's degree or higher in Horticulture, Agriculture, Biology, or a related field.

- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in greenhouse operations, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.

- Technical Skills: Proficient in greenhouse management software and plant care techniques; familiarity with laboratory practices in a pharmaceutical context is a plus.

- Knowledge: Strong understanding of plant biology, pest management, and environmental control systems.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing conditions and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
