Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Guitar Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant retail music store in Ajman. The successful candidate will support our lead guitar instructor in delivering high-quality music education to students of all ages and skill levels. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong musical background, excellent communication skills, and a desire to foster a love of music in others.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the lead guitar instructor in planning and delivering engaging guitar lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of individual students or groups.
- Provide one-on-one support to students during lessons, helping them improve their technique, theory, and performance skills.
- Prepare lesson materials and resources, including sheet music, exercises, and instructional videos.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Help organize and facilitate student recitals, workshops, and other events to showcase student achievements.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging classroom environment that fosters creativity and enthusiasm for learning.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling lessons, managing student records, and maintaining inventory of teaching materials and instruments.
- Promote the guitar programs and services offered by the store to potential students and their families.
- Collaborate with the retail team to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers and students.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience playing the guitar, with proficiency in various styles (e.g., classical, rock, jazz).
- Prior experience in teaching or tutoring music is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of music theory and the ability to read and interpret sheet music.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for music education.
- Familiarity with retail environments and customer service principles is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate student schedules.
