Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handyman to join our team in the agricultural sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance and repair work, with a focus on supporting agricultural operations. This role requires a proactive individual who is capable of handling various tasks related to the upkeep and improvement of agricultural facilities, equipment, and landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance on agricultural equipment, including tractors, irrigation systems, and other machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct repairs and troubleshooting on various agricultural tools and equipment, addressing issues as they arise.
- Assist in the construction and maintenance of farm structures such as barns, greenhouses, and storage facilities.
- Implement and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring efficient water distribution to crops and plants.
- Manage and maintain landscaping, including planting, pruning, and maintaining gardens and agricultural plots.
- Collaborate with farm management to develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards while performing all tasks.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for maintenance and repair activities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management, providing timely solutions to issues.
- Train and supervise junior maintenance staff and apprentices as required.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role within the agriculture or related sector (minimum of 3 years and maximum of 7 years).
- Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment and machinery, including maintenance and repair techniques.
- Proficient in a variety of trades including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general maintenance.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and landscape management practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Valid UAE driving license is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
