Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Officer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The Health and Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the agriculture sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, with a focus on agricultural practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in line with local regulations and industry best practices
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace
- Provide training and support to employees on health and safety protocols
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health and safety activities
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and awareness
- Stay up to date on changes in health and safety regulations and ensure compliance

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- [X] years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the agriculture sector
- Knowledge of local health and safety regulations and standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certified Health and Safety Professional (CHSP) certification is a plus
