Job Description:

As a Heating Equipment Operator Assistant, you will work alongside our Heating Equipment Operator to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of heating equipment within our telecommunications facilities. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with the operation of heating equipment, conducting regular maintenance checks, troubleshooting any issues that may arise, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Heating Equipment Operator in operating heating equipment to maintain optimal temperatures within the facilities
- Conduct routine checks on heating equipment to ensure they are functioning properly
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues with heating equipment
- Monitor temperature levels and make adjustments as necessary
- Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are followed at all times
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Assist with the installation and setup of new heating equipment as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working with heating equipment is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
