Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team in the Healthcare sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment to support construction, maintenance, and operational tasks at healthcare facilities across Abu Dhabi. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that our healthcare environments are safe, efficient, and conducive to providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, and cranes for construction, maintenance, and repair activities at healthcare facilities.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and efficiency, and report any maintenance needs or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to plan and execute tasks according to project specifications and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, protocols, and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Assist with site preparation, including grading, trenching, and other earth-moving activities to facilitate construction projects.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment operations, maintenance activities, and safety inspections.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge regarding operating procedures and safety standards.
- Work diligently to minimize disruption to healthcare operations and maintain a clean and orderly worksite.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, especially those related to healthcare standards and regulations.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in heavy equipment operation or relevant fields preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 7 years of experience operating heavy equipment in construction or facilities management, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Valid UAE Heavy Equipment Operator License.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in operating heavy machinery.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with healthcare facility operations is a plus.
