Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi. This role is critical in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that the hotel operates efficiently within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel management, excellent leadership skills, and a keen understanding of financial operations within the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, ensuring that all departments work cohesively to provide an exceptional guest experience.

- Financial Oversight: Manage the hotel’s financial performance by monitoring budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

- Guest Experience: Develop and implement guest service standards and programs that enhance guest satisfaction. Address guest feedback and concerns promptly and effectively to maintain high standards of service.

- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop hotel staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.

- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to establish and implement strategic goals and objectives. Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to enhance the hotel’s market position.

- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all local health, safety, and legal regulations. Conduct regular inspections of the property and implement necessary improvements to maintain safety and quality standards.

- Marketing and Promotion: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and packages that attract guests and increase occupancy rates.

- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality service and competitive pricing. Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize costs and services.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting in a hotel environment.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations relevant to the hospitality industry in Abu Dhabi.
