Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for performing various cleaning tasks throughout the facility, ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, and other common spaces in accordance with healthcare standards and protocols.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors, ensuring that all surfaces are free from dirt, debris, and spills.
- Dispose of waste in accordance with environmental and safety regulations, including proper handling of biohazardous materials.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or necessary replacements to the supervisor.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of special events, meetings, and activities within the facility.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests and emergencies, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to assist.
- Follow infection control guidelines and safety protocols to prevent the spread of infection and ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and healthcare personnel to ensure a seamless operation and high levels of cleanliness.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in housekeeping or janitorial services, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment used in healthcare environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy equipment or supplies as needed.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
