We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk to join our Information Technology department in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining inventory levels of hardware, software, and other IT equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking stock levels and conducting regular audits
- Coordinate with vendors to order new inventory and ensure timely delivery
- Monitor and update inventory databases and systems
- Assist in the procurement process by identifying sourcing options and negotiating prices
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure that inventory levels meet the needs of ongoing projects and initiatives
- Generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and trends for management review
- Identify and address any discrepancies or issues with inventory levels
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
- At least 2-4 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in an IT setting
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
