Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Management Manager to join our dynamic retail team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, ensuring optimal stock levels, and enhancing our inventory control systems to support our retail operations. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain and achieving our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inventory Strategy Development: Develop and implement inventory management strategies that align with the overall business goals. Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.

- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels across multiple retail locations. Ensure accurate stock counts and implement best practices for inventory control to minimize shrinkage and waste.

- Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products. Negotiate terms and establish strong relationships to secure favorable pricing and conditions.

- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize inventory management software and tools to track inventory metrics. Generate regular reports on inventory performance, turnover rates, and stock discrepancies to inform management decisions.

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the inventory management team, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of performance. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team.

- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the inventory management process. Implement new systems and technologies that enhance efficiency and accuracy in stock management.

- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding inventory management. Stay updated on best practices in inventory control and retail management.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and finance, to align inventory management strategies with overall business operations and goals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably within the retail sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
