Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Banking Analyst to join our dynamic team based in Dubai, specializing in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial modeling, and a passion for the construction industry. As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will support senior bankers in executing transactions, conducting market research, and providing strategic advisory services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Analysis and Modeling: Develop and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate potential investment opportunities, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analyses, merger and acquisition (M&A) models, and comparable company analyses.

- Market Research: Conduct extensive research on the construction market in the Middle East, including industry trends, competitive landscape, and macroeconomic factors that influence investment decisions.

- Due Diligence: Assist in the due diligence process for transactions by gathering relevant financial and operational information, analyzing data, and preparing detailed reports to support investment recommendations.

- Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and objectives, and present findings and recommendations effectively. Prepare pitch books and presentations for client meetings.

- Transaction Support: Support senior bankers in executing transactions, including M&A, capital raising, and restructuring activities. Assist in drafting transaction documents, including offering memoranda and management presentations.

- Networking and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry stakeholders, and internal teams to foster collaboration and successful outcomes.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (CFA, CAIA, etc.) is a plus.

- 2 to 4 years of experience in investment banking, financial analysis, or corporate finance, preferably with a focus on the construction sector.

- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.).

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

- A team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
