We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Law Librarian to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As a Law Librarian in the Aerospace and Defense industry, you will be responsible for managing and providing access to a wide range of legal resources and information to support the legal needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain a comprehensive collection of legal resources, including books, journals, electronic databases, and other materials relevant to the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Assist attorneys and other professionals within the organization in conducting legal research and finding relevant information.
- Develop and implement library policies and procedures to ensure efficient access to legal resources.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide training and support on legal research tools and techniques.
- Stay current on legal trends and changes in regulations that may impact the organization.
- Assist in the acquisition of new legal resources and materials as needed.
- Manage the budget for the law library and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a Law Librarian in a corporate or legal setting.
- Strong knowledge of legal research tools and databases.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the Aerospace and Defense industry is a plus.
