Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Mall Security Guard Assistant to join our team in ensuring the safety and security of our shopping mall environment. This role is crucial in providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere for shoppers, staff, and tenants. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Mall Security team to monitor activities, respond to incidents, and enforce mall policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Surveillance and Monitoring:
- Actively monitor CCTV systems and security equipment to identify suspicious activities and potential threats.
- Conduct regular patrols of the mall premises, including parking areas, to deter theft, vandalism, and other unlawful activities.

- Incident Response:
- Assist in responding to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, ensuring swift action to protect individuals and property.
- Report any suspicious behavior or potential security breaches to the Mall Security Supervisor immediately.

- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers, answering inquiries, and offering directions within the mall.
- Maintain a visible presence to enhance the sense of security and comfort for all mall visitors.

- Policy Enforcement:
- Enforce mall rules and regulations, including the management of crowd control during events.
- Assist in the enforcement of health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.

- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes.
- Prepare incident reports as required, documenting any security-related events and actions taken.

- Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with mall management, store personnel, and emergency services when necessary.
- Participate in regular security training and drills to enhance skills and knowledge in emergency response.

Qualifications:

- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security, safety, or emergency response are preferred.

- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a security role, preferably within a retail or mall environment.

- Skills:
- Strong observational and analytical skills, with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse range of individuals.
- Proficient in the use of security technology and equipment.

- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Must be physically fit to respond to emergencies swiftly.

Additional Requirements:

- Must possess a valid UAE driver’s license (if applicable for patrol duties).
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
