Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Mall Security Officer to join our security team in a prominent shopping mall located in Sharjah, specializing in agricultural products and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons and staff, ensuring the protection of property and preventing theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and patrol the mall premises regularly to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property.
- Conduct thorough inspections of the mall's facilities, including entrances, exits, and parking areas, to identify any potential security risks or safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, and security incidents, while coordinating with local authorities as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting mall visitors with inquiries and concerns while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Implement and enforce mall policies and procedures to ensure compliance and promote a safe shopping environment.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, daily activities, and security logs, and report any unusual occurrences to management.
- Collaborate with mall management and local law enforcement to conduct investigations into theft, disturbances, and other security-related incidents as needed.
- Assist in the training of new security staff and provide guidance on best practices for maintaining a secure environment.
- Participate in regular security meetings and contribute to the development of safety protocols and emergency response plans.
- Stay informed about current security trends and potential threats to enhance overall security measures.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security certifications or training is a plus.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
- Proficient in using security technology, including surveillance systems and alarm monitoring.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, with effective problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to security and safety.
- Physical fitness and the ability to conduct patrols and respond to emergencies.

Working Conditions:

- The position may require standing for extended periods and walking throughout the mall premises.
- Shift work is expected, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
