We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Materials Planning Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The Materials Planning Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of materials planning, procurement, and inventory management for our consumer goods company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic materials planning processes to ensure optimal inventory levels and on-time delivery of materials
- Work closely with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, sales forecasts, and production schedules to identify and address any potential shortages or excesses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and logistics, to ensure alignment on materials planning and procurement strategies
- Lead a team of materials planners and buyers, providing guidance and support to ensure department goals are met
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track and manage materials effectively
- Continuously drive process improvements to streamline materials planning processes and reduce costs
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in materials planning and procurement to drive innovation and efficiency

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- [5-8] years of experience in materials planning, procurement, or inventory management
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office suite
