Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Medical Transcriber to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for converting voice recordings from healthcare professionals into written documents with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent listening skills, and proficiency in transcription software and technology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Listen to recorded dictations from physicians and other healthcare professionals and transcribe them into clear, accurate, and grammatically correct written reports.
- Ensure transcriptions are completed in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of accuracy and detail.
- Review and edit transcribed material for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors.
- Utilize various transcription software and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to relevant regulations and guidelines regarding patient information and data protection.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear dictations or terminology.
- Stay updated on medical terminology, procedures, and technology changes within the healthcare sector.
- Manage and organize files, ensuring that all completed transcriptions are stored securely and are easily retrievable when needed.
- Provide support in training new staff or interns on transcription processes and tools as required.
- Participate in continuous professional development to enhance transcription skills and medical knowledge.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Health Information Management, Medical Transcription, or related discipline) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical transcription or a related field.
- Proficient in using transcription software, word processing applications, and other office productivity tools.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
- Excellent listening skills with the ability to understand various accents and dialects.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:
- Certification from a recognized medical transcription program is a plus.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare software.
- Experience with quality assurance processes in transcription.
