Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Meteorology Specialist to join our dynamic team in Dubai's real estate sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing detailed weather forecasts, climate analysis, and environmental insights to support our real estate development projects. This position requires a deep understanding of meteorological concepts, data analysis, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Weather Forecasting & Analysis:
- Develop, analyze, and interpret meteorological data to provide accurate weather forecasts for current and upcoming real estate projects.
- Monitor and evaluate weather conditions and climatic trends that could impact construction schedules, outdoor events, and property management.

2. Climate Impact Assessment:
- Conduct comprehensive climate risk assessments to identify potential impacts of climate change on real estate assets and development plans.
- Collaborate with project managers and developers to integrate climate considerations into project planning and design.

3. Data Management:
- Collect, analyze, and maintain meteorological data from various sources, including weather stations, satellite imagery, and climate models.
- Utilize advanced meteorological software and tools for simulations and forecasts, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

4. Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing meteorological findings and recommendations for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Communicate complex meteorological information in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences, including real estate developers, investors, and government agencies.

5. Collaboration:
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and urban planners to assess the implications of weather patterns on design and construction.
- Participate in interdisciplinary teams to develop strategies that enhance the sustainability and resilience of real estate developments.

6. Research & Development:
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in meteorology and climate science, applying relevant findings to improve project outcomes.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge in meteorological practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in meteorology, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.
- Proficiency in meteorological software and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and produce actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with climate change issues and sustainability practices in real estate development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
