Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mine Engineer Assistant to join our dynamic team in the real estate sector based in Abu Dhabi. This position will support the Mine Engineering team in various projects, focusing on site assessment, data analysis, and compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in geology and mining engineering principles, along with a passion for real estate development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in conducting geological surveys and site assessments to identify mineral resources and evaluate potential mining sites.
- Support the Mine Engineer in the design and implementation of mining operations and real estate projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret geological and engineering data, preparing detailed reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and optimize mining plans that align with real estate development objectives.
- Monitor and assess environmental impacts associated with mining activities, recommending mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Contribute to the preparation of project budgets and timelines, assisting in the procurement of necessary materials and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of geological data, mining activities, and project progress, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and organized.
- Participate in site visits and inspections, documenting findings and providing recommendations to the engineering team.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior engineering staff and interns, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations relevant to mining engineering and real estate development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in mining engineering or a related field, preferably within the real estate sector.
- Knowledge of mining processes, geological mapping, and site assessment techniques.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools, including AutoCAD, GIS, and other relevant applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and environmental standards.
