We are seeking a diligent and experienced Mining Safety Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees working in our mining operations within the consumer goods industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of all mining sites
- Identify and assess potential hazards and risks in the workplace
- Provide safety training to employees and contractors
- Investigate and report on accidents or incidents, and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain and update safety records and documentation
- Collaborate with management to continuously improve safety standards and practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- [X] years of experience in a similar role within the mining industry
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certification in relevant safety training programs is a plus
