Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mining Technician to join our dynamic team in the real estate sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mining operations, with the ability to apply their expertise in the context of real estate development and resource management. The Mining Technician will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and monitoring of mining operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations while supporting our real estate initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Site Assessments: Conduct detailed geological surveys and assessments of mining sites to evaluate mineral deposits and their potential for integration within real estate projects.

- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to mineral resources, including sampling, testing, and reporting, to inform project planning and decision-making processes.

- Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and environmental consultants to develop mining plans that align with real estate development goals and sustainability practices.

- Operational Support: Assist in the operation and maintenance of mining equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.

- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor compliance with local and international mining regulations and environmental laws, preparing necessary documentation for permits and inspections.

- Safety Management: Implement and participate in safety training programs, ensuring all team members are aware of and adhere to safety protocols and procedures on-site.

- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on mining operations, including progress updates, challenges encountered, and recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

- Education: A diploma or degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.

- Experience: A minimum of 3 to 8 years of experience in mining operations, with a preference for experience in real estate or related sectors.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in mining software and tools, geological modeling, and data analysis; experience with CAD software is a plus.

- Knowledge: Strong understanding of mining processes, safety regulations, and environmental management practices.

- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
