Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mobile App Tester Assistant to join our dynamic team in the telecommunications sector in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications by assisting the testing team in various testing processes and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the execution of test cases and test scripts for mobile applications across various platforms, including iOS and Android.
- Collaborate with the testing team to understand testing requirements, objectives, and scope for mobile applications.
- Participate in the preparation of test plans, test scenarios, and test data.
- Execute functional, regression, usability, and performance testing on mobile applications.
- Document and report defects using bug tracking tools, providing clear and concise descriptions of issues.
- Work closely with developers and product owners to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify areas of improvement and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks where applicable.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing process.
- Stay updated on the latest mobile testing tools, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing, preferably in mobile applications within the telecommunications industry.
- Familiarity with mobile testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest).
- Understanding of mobile platform differences and challenges in testing.
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Swift, Python) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
