Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Manager to join our team in Sharjah, specializing in the transportation and logistics sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of all network systems. You will play a critical role in supporting our business objectives by enabling seamless communication and data transfer across various logistics and transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure that supports the organization's logistics and transportation operations, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Monitor network performance and conduct regular assessments to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network-related projects in alignment with business goals.
- Ensure network security by implementing best practices, managing firewalls, and conducting periodic risk assessments.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on network-related issues, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Manage relationships with third-party service providers and vendors to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to recommend improvements and innovations for the network infrastructure.
- Develop and manage the network budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management regarding network performance, incidents, and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in network management, preferably within the transportation and logistics sector.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and experience with network monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Hands-on experience with network security measures, including intrusion detection systems and encryption technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are highly desirable.
