Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Orthodontic Technician to join our dynamic team in a retail orthodontic practice based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for orthodontics, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. You will play a vital role in creating and maintaining orthodontic appliances that enhance our patients’ smiles and contribute to their overall dental health.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fabrication of Orthodontic Appliances: Design, construct, and modify various orthodontic devices, including braces, retainers, and aligners, ensuring they meet precise specifications.
- Patient Interaction: Assist orthodontists in taking impressions, X-rays, and photographs of patients’ teeth and jaws to facilitate accurate treatment planning.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from defects.
- Collaboration with Orthodontists: Work closely with orthodontists to deliver customized treatment plans and make adjustments to appliances as necessary.
- Maintenance of Equipment: Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, ensuring all tools and machines are in good working condition.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of materials and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of all fabrication processes, materials used, and patient information in compliance with health regulations and company policies.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements in orthodontic technology and techniques through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Orthodontic Technician or in a related field.
- Diploma or certificate in Dental Technology, Orthodontics, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in the use of dental laboratory equipment and materials.
- Strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures and devices.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with both colleagues and patients.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology and software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
