Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontist Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi's construction sector. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting orthodontic procedures and ensuring a smooth workflow within the practice. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and a customer-service-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the orthodontist during various procedures, including the placement and adjustment of braces, retainers, and other orthodontic appliances.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Take dental impressions and assist with digital imaging as required.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the proper care of orthodontic appliances.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Manage inventory of orthodontic supplies, placing orders as necessary and ensuring the clinic is well-stocked.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including billing and insurance processing.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in orthodontics and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification as an orthodontic assistant is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a dental or orthodontic setting.
- Proficient in using dental software and digital imaging technology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, terminology, and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
