Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Park Naturalist to join our team in Ajman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the conservation and management of natural resources within local parks and green spaces, while also focusing on transportation and logistics related to environmental education and conservation efforts. This role involves educating visitors about the natural environment, promoting conservation initiatives, and coordinating logistics for various programs and activities within the park.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Environmental Education:
- Develop and deliver educational programs and workshops for visitors of all ages, focusing on local flora, fauna, ecosystems, and conservation practices.
- Create informative materials, such as brochures, presentations, and social media content, to promote awareness of environmental issues and park activities.
- Lead guided nature walks, interpretive programs, and special events to enhance visitor engagement and understanding of the park’s natural resources.

2. Park Management:
- Monitor and assess park ecosystems, identifying areas for improvement and conservation efforts.
- Collaborate with local authorities and environmental organizations to implement conservation projects and initiatives.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of park facilities, trails, and natural habitats.

3. Logistics Coordination:
- Organize transportation and logistics for educational programs, including field trips and community outreach events.
- Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure safe and efficient travel for program participants.
- Manage inventory and procurement of educational materials and equipment necessary for park operations.

4. Community Engagement:
- Foster relationships with local schools, community organizations, and stakeholders to promote environmental stewardship and park activities.
- Encourage volunteer participation in conservation projects, community clean-ups, and educational programs.
- Gather feedback from the community to improve park offerings and educational programs.

5. Research and Reporting:
- Conduct research on local ecosystems, wildlife, and environmental trends to inform park management strategies.
- Prepare reports on park activities, visitor engagement, and environmental impact assessments for management review.
- Stay updated on best practices and trends in environmental education and park management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Natural Resource Management, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental education, park management, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of local ecosystems, wildlife, and conservation practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with teams and community stakeholders.
- Familiarity with logistics management and transportation coordination is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with digital communication tools.
