We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patent Examiner Assistant in the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will work closely with patent examiners to review and analyze patent applications related to medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and other healthcare innovations.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patent examiners in conducting searches and analyzing prior art to determine the novelty and inventiveness of healthcare-related inventions
- Review patent applications to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for patent examiners based on research findings
- Communicate with patent applicants, attorneys, and other stakeholders to clarify information and address any concerns
- Assist in organizing and maintaining patent files and documentation
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments in healthcare technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. biology, chemistry, biomedical engineering)
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with patent laws and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
