### Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Phlebotomist Assistant to join our innovative team in the agricultural sector based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist in the collection, processing, and handling of biological samples from various agricultural specimens, contributing to our research and development initiatives aimed at enhancing crop quality and yield.

### Key Responsibilities:

- Assist licensed phlebotomists in the collection of blood samples and other biological specimens from plants and livestock.
- Prepare necessary equipment and materials for sample collection, ensuring all tools are sterile and ready for use.
- Follow strict safety protocols and guidelines during the sample collection process to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Label and document samples accurately, ensuring proper identification and traceability throughout the testing process.
- Maintain accurate records of samples collected, including dates, times, and any relevant observations.
- Collaborate with laboratory technicians to ensure timely processing of collected samples.
- Conduct preliminary tests and analyses on samples as directed, ensuring quality control and accuracy of results.
- Assist in the maintenance and organization of laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring all materials are stocked and available for use.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills in phlebotomy and related agricultural practices.
- Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in handling sensitive data related to agricultural research.

### Required Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in phlebotomy or a related field is a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a phlebotomy or laboratory assistance role, preferably within the agricultural sector.
- Understanding of basic laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication skills, with proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.

### Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in handling biological samples from agricultural contexts.
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- Basic knowledge of agricultural practices and terminology.
