We are a leading educational institution in Abu Dhabi, focused on providing high-quality education and training programs in the field of physical therapy. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team.

Job Description:

The Physical Therapy Assistant will work closely with the faculty and students in our physical therapy program to provide support and assistance in clinical and educational settings. Responsibilities include assisting with therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques, as well as helping to maintain a safe and organized clinical environment. The Physical Therapy Assistant will also assist with documentation, data collection, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist physical therapy faculty and students in the delivery of patient care and treatment
- Help to set up and maintain equipment and supplies for therapy sessions
- Aid in the implementation of therapeutic exercises and modalities under the direction of a licensed physical therapist
- Assist with patient education and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment sessions
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed
- Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to patient care and safety

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or related field
- Valid certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a clinical or educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of basic physical therapy principles and techniques
