Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pilot Instructor Assistant to join our dynamic team in Ajman. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the flight training operations within the Aerospace and Defense sector. The ideal candidate will work closely with experienced flight instructors to facilitate ground and flight training sessions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting a safe learning environment for aspiring pilots.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist flight instructors in the delivery of ground school and flight training sessions, ensuring that all instructional materials are prepared and available.
- Coordinate and organize training schedules, student assessments, and aviation resources to enhance the efficiency of training programs.
- Provide support in the development of training materials, including lesson plans, manuals, and multimedia presentations.
- Conduct pre-flight briefings and post-flight debriefings with students, offering constructive feedback and guidance on performance.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of flight hours, training milestones, and assessments.
- Ensure aircraft and simulators are in optimal condition for training, reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with aviation regulations and standards, including safety protocols, flight operations, and training guidelines.
- Participate in continuous professional development to stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in pilot training.
- Collaborate with other team members in the planning and execution of special training events, workshops, and seminars.
- Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging students to develop their skills, confidence, and passion for aviation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in flight training, aviation operations, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, flight training methodologies, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students.
- Proficiency in the use of aviation training software and simulators is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and proactive.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning theories is a plus.
