Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Welder to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of piping systems in various construction projects. The Pipe Welder will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to ensure that all welding tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform welding tasks on various types of piping materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout, assembly, and welding requirements.
- Set up and operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding machines.
- Conduct pre-weld and post-weld inspections to ensure the integrity and quality of welds, adhering to safety protocols and project specifications.
- Collaborate with other construction personnel to coordinate work schedules and project timelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the welding process.
- Document welding activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior welders and apprentices as needed.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a welding program from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in pipe welding within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Strong knowledge of pipefitting and fabrication principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Certification from a recognized welding authority (e.g., AWS, ASME) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in the construction industry.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
