Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Politician Assistant to support a prominent political figure within the healthcare sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of healthcare policies and the political landscape, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is crucial for aiding in the development and implementation of healthcare initiatives that align with the political agenda.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive research on healthcare policies, legislation, and industry trends.
- Analyze data and prepare reports to inform the politician’s strategic decisions regarding healthcare initiatives.
2. Administrative Support:
- Manage the politician’s schedule, including meetings, public appearances, and events related to healthcare.
- Prepare and organize documents, presentations, and briefing materials for meetings and speeches.
3. Communication:
- Draft correspondence, speeches, and press releases related to healthcare issues.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare organizations, and the public to gather information and promote healthcare initiatives.
4. Event Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate healthcare-related events, community outreach programs, and public forums.
- Ensure all events are executed smoothly and align with the politician’s objectives.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector, including healthcare providers, NGOs, and community leaders.
- Assist in formulating strategies to engage the public and gather feedback on healthcare policies.
6. Policy Development:
- Assist in the development of healthcare policies and proposals by providing insight and recommendations based on research and stakeholder feedback.
- Monitor ongoing legislative developments and assess their impact on the healthcare sector.
7. Reporting:
- Prepare regular updates and reports for the politician on healthcare matters, including progress on initiatives and emerging issues.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of healthcare programs and policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in political assistance, public policy, or healthcare administration.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare system and policies in the UAE and internationally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and research tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
