We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Postal Clerk to join our team in Sharjah. As a Postal Clerk, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mail, sorting and distributing packages, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Process outgoing mail and packages for shipment
- Maintain accurate records of all mail and packages received and dispatched
- Assist customers with inquiries related to postal services
- Operate postage meter machines and other mail processing equipment
- Ensure compliance with postal regulations and company policies
- Coordinate with courier services for timely delivery of packages
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Postal Clerk or in a similar role
- Knowledge of postal regulations and procedures
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
