Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our innovative team in Abu Dhabi, working at the intersection of mental health and agriculture. This unique position involves providing psychiatric care to individuals involved in agricultural practices, focusing on their mental well-being and promoting mental health awareness within the agricultural community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for clients working in the agricultural sector.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client assessments, emphasizing holistic approaches that consider the unique stresses of agricultural life.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including general practitioners, agricultural specialists, and social workers, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Monitor and manage psychiatric medications as needed, including prescribing, reviewing, and adjusting treatment regimens.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies, with a focus on the challenges faced in agricultural environments.
- Advocate for mental health resources and support within the agricultural community, fostering an understanding of mental health issues and reducing stigma.
- Participate in research and community outreach programs aimed at improving mental health services for agricultural workers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the UAE or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in psychiatric nursing, with at least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting related to mental health and agriculture preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Cultural sensitivity and understanding of the unique mental health challenges faced by individuals in the agricultural sector.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
