Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Robotics Engineer Assistant to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge robotics projects that contribute to advancements in technology and innovation within the industry. The ideal candidate will assist senior engineers in various stages of robotics development, from conceptualization to prototyping and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with senior robotics engineers to design, develop, and test robotic systems and components for aerospace and defense applications.
- Assist in programming robotic systems using languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB, ensuring proper functionality and performance.
- Support the assembly and integration of robotic parts, including sensors, actuators, and control systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on robotic systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Participate in the testing and evaluation of robotic prototypes, documenting results and providing feedback for improvements.
- Aid in the preparation of project documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in robotics technology, contributing ideas and insights to enhance project outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and project managers, to ensure project milestones are met.
- Assist in the management of project timelines, budgets, and resources, reporting progress to senior engineering staff.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in robotics, automation, or a related engineering discipline.
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to robotics, particularly C++, Python, or MATLAB.
- Familiarity with robotic hardware components, including sensors, actuators, and control systems.
- Experience in 3D modeling and simulation software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
