Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Operations Program Manager to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our sales operations, optimizing processes, and driving strategic initiatives to support our growth objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales operations, program management, and a thorough understanding of the Aerospace and Defense industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.

2. Program Management:
- Lead and manage multiple sales operations programs, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and engineering, to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.

3. Process Optimization:
- Evaluate current sales processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices and process automation solutions to streamline sales operations.

4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain sales performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to provide insights and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Conduct regular analysis of sales data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

5. Training and Development:
- Design and deliver training programs for sales teams to enhance their skills and knowledge of products, services, and sales techniques.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the sales organization.

6. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and government agencies.
- Act as a liaison between sales teams and other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

7. Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure that all sales operations activities adhere to relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Participate in audits and compliance reviews, providing necessary documentation and insights.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5-7 years of experience in sales operations, program management, or a related role, preferably within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and data analysis tools.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with sales analytics tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the Aerospace and Defense sector is highly desirable.
