Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Secondary School Teacher specializing in Aerospace and Defense to join our dynamic educational team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering, defense technologies, or a related field, coupled with a proven ability to inspire and engage students in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development:
- Design and implement a comprehensive curriculum for Aerospace and Defense subjects that aligns with national educational standards and promotes critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Integrate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) principles into lessons to enhance student understanding of aerospace and defense concepts.

2. Instruction:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging, and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, hands-on projects, group work, and technology-enhanced learning to facilitate comprehension and retention of complex topics.

3. Assessment and Evaluation:
- Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior in accordance with school policies.

4. Student Engagement:
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as aerospace clubs, competitions, or field trips to enhance students’ practical experience and interest in the field.

5. Professional Development:
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in aerospace and defense education, integrating new knowledge into the curriculum.
- Participate in professional development workshops, conferences, and training sessions to improve teaching skills and subject matter expertise.

6. Communication:
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open lines of communication regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for all students.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Defense Studies, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 7 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting, with a focus on STEM subjects, aerospace, or defense.
- Teaching certification or license recognized in the UAE or home country is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace and defense principles, technologies, and industry trends.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital resources to enhance learning.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
