Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Developer to join our dynamic retail team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing our market presence in the retail sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis & Strategy Development: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and new business opportunities. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to capitalize on these insights.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and potential partners. Leverage these relationships to drive business growth and enhance our market position.
- Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across various retail channels. Develop tailored sales strategies to increase revenue and market share, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present high-quality proposals and pitches to potential clients and partners. Clearly articulate the value proposition and benefits of our products and services.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product development teams to ensure alignment of business development efforts with overall company goals. Collaborate to create effective promotional strategies and campaigns.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor and report on business development performance. Analyze results and adjust strategies as necessary to meet targets.
- Networking & Industry Engagement: Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company and identify potential business opportunities.
- Mentorship & Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the business development team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the retail sector.
- Proven track record of successfully closing deals and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the retail market dynamics, including customer behavior and emerging trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
