Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Chemist to join our dynamic team in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, with a focus on pharmaceutical formulations and analytical techniques. This role will involve leading research and development projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the innovation of healthcare products that improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage research and development projects related to pharmaceutical formulations and analytical chemistry.
- Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for the characterization and quality control of pharmaceutical products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including formulation scientists, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to ensure product development aligns with regulatory requirements and market needs.
- Conduct stability studies and prepare technical reports, including data analysis and interpretation to support product development and registration.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
- Facilitate training and mentorship for junior chemists and laboratory staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory changes relevant to pharmaceutical chemistry.
- Actively participate in problem-solving and troubleshooting activities to address technical challenges in product development.
- Prepare and present findings at team meetings and external conferences, contributing to knowledge-sharing within the organization.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or healthcare-related setting.
- Strong expertise in analytical chemistry techniques, including HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.
- Proven experience in developing and validating analytical methods for drug substances and products.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, etc.) related to pharmaceutical development and quality control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.
