Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our fast-growing team in Dubai's financial services sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure architectures, security best practices, and operational management. This role requires expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions while ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of our applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cloud Architecture Design:
Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architecture solutions aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements in the financial services sector.

- Infrastructure Management:
Manage and optimize cloud resources (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to ensure optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards.

- Automation & Configuration Management:
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for provisioning, monitoring, and managing cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

- Security & Compliance:
Implement security measures, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance controls, to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive financial data.

- Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and cybersecurity, to support cloud-based application deployments and troubleshoot issues.

- Performance Monitoring:
Establish and manage monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of cloud infrastructure, quickly identifying and resolving incidents.

- Documentation & Reporting:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and procedures. Provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders regarding cloud infrastructure performance and security.

- Mentorship:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Strong hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in cloud-native services, networking, and security practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
