We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Design Consultant to join our team in Dubai. This position is based in the education sector, where you will be responsible for working closely with educational institutions to develop innovative and effective design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and requirements
- Develop creative concepts and designs for educational spaces, such as classrooms, libraries, and common areas
- Create detailed design proposals, including floor plans, renderings, and material selections
- Present design concepts to clients and lead discussions to gather feedback and make revisions as needed
- Oversee the implementation of design projects, working closely with contractors and vendors to ensure quality and timeliness
- Stay current on design trends and best practices in the education sector
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior design team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on educational projects
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous design work in the education sector
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
