Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Energy Analyst to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, specializing in the Transportation and Logistics sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of energy consumption patterns, renewable energy integration, and energy efficiency strategies within the transportation industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainable transportation solutions and enhance energy performance across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Data Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses of energy consumption data and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization within transportation and logistics operations.

- Energy Modeling: Develop and maintain energy models to forecast energy usage and evaluate the impact of various transportation strategies on energy consumption and emissions.

- Sustainability Initiatives: Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of transportation and logistics operations, including the adoption of alternative fuels and energy-efficient technologies.

- Policy and Compliance: Stay updated on local and international energy policies, regulations, and incentives that affect the transportation and logistics sector. Ensure compliance with applicable standards and contribute to policy advocacy where necessary.

- Project Management: Lead and manage energy-focused projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and alignment with organizational goals.

- Reporting and Presentations: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders that communicate energy performance metrics, project outcomes, and recommendations for future improvements.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, government agencies, and industry partners to promote energy efficiency and sustainability best practices in the transportation sector.

- Research and Development: Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in energy management and sustainability within the transportation and logistics industry.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Energy Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in energy analysis, sustainability, or a related field, preferably within the transportation and logistics sector.

- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, MATLAB, Python).

- Familiarity with energy management systems, renewable energy technologies, and energy efficiency practices.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to a variety of audiences.

- Project management experience, with a track record of successfully leading energy-related projects.

- Knowledge of local energy regulations and sustainability initiatives in the UAE is highly desirable.
