Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Information Architect to join our dynamic team in Dubai’s healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing and optimizing information structures to ensure effective data management and accessibility. As a Senior Information Architect, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the usability of our healthcare systems and ensuring that critical information is organized, accessible, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Information Design and Strategy: Develop and implement information architecture strategies that align with organizational goals, particularly focusing on enhancing the usability and accessibility of healthcare data systems.

- Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models that accurately represent healthcare data structures, ensuring that they meet the needs of various stakeholders including clinicians, administrators, and IT personnel.

- User Experience (UX) Collaboration: Work closely with UX designers to ensure that information architecture principles are integrated into the overall user experience of digital healthcare products and services.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical staff, IT, and management, to gather requirements and ensure the information architecture supports their needs effectively.

- Information Governance: Establish guidelines and best practices for information governance, data quality, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).

- Research and Analysis: Conduct user research and data analysis to understand user needs and behaviors, which will inform the design of intuitive navigation systems and data retrieval processes.

- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of information architecture frameworks, data models, and design decisions for future reference and training purposes.

- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior information architects and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Technology Evaluation: Stay updated with the latest trends in information architecture, data management, and healthcare technologies. Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies that can enhance our information architecture capabilities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information architecture, data modeling, or a related field, preferably within the healthcare sector.

- Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and regulations.

- Proficiency in information architecture tools and methodologies, such as wireframing, prototyping, and user-centered design.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and knowledge of SQL or other database querying languages is an advantage.

- Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment is a plus.
