Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our transportation and logistics operations by leveraging data analysis, process improvement techniques, and strategic insights. The Senior Operations Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports for key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

2. Process Improvement:
- Lead initiatives to streamline logistics and transportation processes, improving turnaround times and reducing operational costs.
- Employ methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with various teams to implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

3. Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project execution.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management.

4. Strategic Planning:
- Assist in the development of operational strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that can enhance operational capabilities.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with supply chain, procurement, and customer service teams to optimize end-to-end operations.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and communication across departments to achieve common goals.
- Act as a liaison between operational teams and upper management to ensure alignment and transparency.

6. Training & Development:
- Mentor and train junior analysts and team members on data analysis techniques and operational best practices.
- Share knowledge and expertise to help build a high-performing operations team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in operations analysis, preferably within the transportation and logistics industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
- Excellent project management skills and experience leading cross-functional projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
